Since 10th September 2007 all houses with 3 or more bedrooms that are for sale have been required to have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).

 

Energy Performance Certificates can only be produced by Domestic Energy Assessors and Home Inspectors who have the necessary qualifications, are accredited under a government approved scheme and carry a valid identity card.
